5V Crimp Panels

5V Crimp Panels

Live Oak Metal Works & Supply’s 5V Crimp Panels, more commonly known simply as 5V Panels, are exposed fastener roofing panels that are suitable for residential, agricultural, and light commercial applications. Named for their distinct shape, these panels feature five inverted V-shaped ribs or “crimps” with an interlocking design that provides strength and helps to create a weather-tight seal. Manufactured with American-made Galvalume® coated steel sheet, our 5V Crimp Panels are available in an acrylic coated mill finish for a timeless, classic aesthetic.
  • The 5V Crimp Panel profile features an interlocking design for a weather-tight seal and enhanced strength.
  • 26-gauge.
  • Features strong and durable Grade 80 structural steel with a minimum yield strength of 80,000 lbs/in2.
  • 24″ coverage.
  • 1/2″ rib height.
  • 3:12 minimum slope.
  • Installs over solid decking with Roofnado™ AnchorDeck™ or AnchorDeck™ PSU underlayment.
  • Mill finish AZ55 Galvalume® coated steel sheet with a clear acrylic coating.

Standard Color Options

Our standard palette of proven Sherwin-Williams® WeatherXL™ silicone-modified polyester coatings are specially formulated to reflect the sun’s rays before they can be absorbed, keeping your roof cooler than traditional roofing materials and reducing energy use.

Our metal roofing is manufactured using specially designed coatings to help keep your roof and your home cooler. These coatings ensure that our metal roofing has higher solar reflectivity and higher thermal emissivity.

  • Solar Reflectivity (SR): Solar Reflectivity or reflectance is the measure of a material’s ability to reflect solar energy or sunlight from its surface. Solar reflectivity values range from 0 to 1.0, with a value of 0 indicating that the surface absorbs all solar energy and a value of 1.0 indicating total reflectance of the sun’s solar energy.
  • Thermal Emissivity (TE): Thermal Emissivity or emittance is a measure of a material’s ability to release or emit heat so that it stays cool to the touch.
  • Solar Reflectance Index (SRI): The Solar Reflectance Index combines solar reflectivity and thermal emissivity into one number. It’s a measure of the roof surface’s ability to stay cool by reflecting solar radiation and emitting thermal radiation. It’s used to determine compliance with LEED and is calculated using values for reflectance and emissivity.
  • A 40-year limited paint warranty is available.
  • Your final color selection should be made using actual color chips.
